Labour law
Our considerable experience in this area enables us to provide expert advice to clients on the drafting and compilation of employment contracts (management contracts, employment contracts for staff at all levels, contracts for oversea assignment), staff manuals and regulations to determine special allowances and payments, IT use, codes of conduct and anti-corruption regulations. We also advise on secondment contracts.
We represent both employers and employees in the private and public sectors.
In seeking resolution to disputes, it is our policy to de-escalate the conflict and to reach a satisfactory settlement for our client. -
Corporate law
We advise our business clients on corporate law questions concerning general meetings, board of directors, company by-laws, organisation regulations on management, regulations on signature authorization and the establishment of subsidiaries and company branches or subdivisions, etc.
Our services include advice on incorporated or unincorporated joint venture projects, and on the acquisition or divestment of companies and/or parts of companies in the SME sector. -
Tort law, state social insurance law and private insurance law
On questions involving disputed liability between two or more potentially liable parties, we advise clients, in both the business and private spheres, on the assessment of damages, on the apportionment of liability between the parties and on the computation of appropriate compensation.
We are well versed in the intricacies of the various claims settlement schemes that apply for both state social security and private insurance. -
Public law in general
Where business or private transactions conflict with, or might be perceived to conflict with the requirements of public law, we advise and represent clients particulary on questions regarding- right to compensation which may result from public-law restrictions to title;
- private use of public ground;
- grants and subsidies;
- grant and issue of public law permits and licences;
- the domestic market (Swiss + EU), etc;

Government procurement law
We provide expert advice on all matters where government procurement regulations apply, whether it concerns the purchase or the provision of goods and services, the compilation and submission of tenders to supply goods and services or the drawing up of invitations to tender. -
Transport law: land, sea and air
On the back of our long association with an international civil aviation group, we are experienced in the field of transport law in general and in particular as it applies to aviation. In this area we focus especially on legal questions pertaining to aircraft maintenance, completion and refurbishment, aircraft management and flight support, and aircraft handling services at airports.
We also advise on legal issues affecting the transport of people and freight on land, air and water. -
Real Estate law and Construction law
Over the years, we have advised clients in the real estate and construction industries. We particularly focus on building conversion and refurbishment projects. We provide advice and support through all the steps of the process:- purchase of real estate;

Civil law
Questions often arise in Civil law, in particular in the areas of family law, succession law and inheritance law, in both the business and private spheres.
We offer practical advice on the drawing up and execution of wills, on questions of matrimonial and divorce law, on the rights, maintenance and protection of children and on matters pertaining to debt resolution. -
Criminal law
Where allegations of criminal conduct arise we provide a considered opinion on the merits of the case and advise clients on procedural matters. In the event of a formal prosecution or indictment we will diligently defend our clients’ interests.
Should there arise in the course of a civil case any implications of criminal behaviour against our client, we will consider, in consultation with the client, pursuing the matter in the criminal courts. -
Rules of procedure and of compulsory enforcement
From our long experience, we have developed expertise in the areas of both private and public law procedures. To guarantee the most efficient and economical outcome for clients, our policy is to strive for satisfactory out of court settlements. Should agreement not prove possible however, we will ensure that the formal procedure is initiated without delay.
Where decisions favourable to our clients are handed down by the courts, we will, when necessary, diligently push for immediate enforcement.
